Accelerating the Circular Economy: Biotechnology for Sustainable Textiles
Join our webinar to explore how Biotechnology is revolutionizing the textile industry, driving it towards a sustainable and circular future. Biotechnology is one of the fastest-growing industrial sectors, heavily supported by massive R&D efforts.
Why This Webinar is Essential:
– The EU has clearly defined objectives (COM/2022/141 final) for the revitalization of the textile sector, focusing on:
– Cleaner Production: Replacing harsh chemicals with bio-based and enzyme-based alternatives.
– Resource Efficiency: Introducing renewable, efficient materials and reducing energy consumption.
– Circularity: Promoting reusable/recyclable materials and new ways to process textile waste. What You Will Learn:
– During this session, we will discuss practical examples of how to exploit bio-based and natural-renewable resources in the textile industry. You will gain:
– Specific Existing Knowledge on the potential of enzymes for cleaner processing.
– Actionable Guidance on implementing bio-based tools within the European textile sector.
– Best Practices and future perspectives from the industry. Why You Should Register:
By attending, you will not only acquire the knowledge needed to align with the EU’s sustainability goals but also contribute to making the textile industry more attractive to a new generation of specialists.
Secure your spot now and be part of shaping a more sustainable and innovative future for textiles!
